Full colour aluminium name plate or text plate
Digital printing in aluminium is also possible. With this technique single-piece or small name plates can be produced efficiently, whereby a razor sharp full-colour image can be applied. The image is locked under the surface.
Application and mounting options
The aluminium and stainless steel nameplates have a wide variety of applications including placement at or on office doors, front doors, commercial buildings and residences. The nameplates can be provided with mounting holes, facet edges, spacers, threaded ends or where applicable suction cups in order to facilitate proper mounting.
Anodising
An electrolytic process where aluminium is converted to aluminium oxide at the surface. This has a very nice decorative look, is strong, scratch resistant, solvent and weather resistant.
Digital printing in aluminium
With this technique, it is possible to print directly in anodised aluminium plates with the ink being absorbed into the plate. The result is a plate with sublime scratch resistance. A technique that is very suitable for print runs with an alternating image.
Screen printing
Screen printing of texts and graphic images in anodised aluminium and on other carriers.
Chemical etching
Intensification in stainless steel nameplates by means of chemical etching. The etched (intensified) parts can be inlaid with a colour lacquer.
CNC milling
A CNC-controlled milling machine to provide extremely accurate nameplates from cut-outs. Highly suited to small and medium series.
Lasering
With a CO2 laser you can mark anodised aluminium plates of all kinds of colours. The lasered image is white. Many types of plastic can also be cut with this.
Finish
Where required a nameplate can be provided with the proper mounting holes, facet edges, spacers, threaded ends, suction cups or possibly self-adhesive tape with which it can be placed quickly and accurately.
Mounting
Polychromal assembles the panels on supplied pedestals, poles or frames whereby the object can be placed directly on location.
